I'm excited to announce my candidacy as an independent for Lennox Ward in the Yarra City Council election this October.
As a long term Richmond resident, I’ve spent the last 15 years working as a physiotherapist in professional sport. I've been lucky to experience success in my career and I'm now keen to repay this good fortune by giving back to my community. My career in sports medicine has provided me with a deep understanding of collaboration, strategic planning, and the drive to achieve results under pressure.
I've witnessed firsthand the challenges our community faces; from the rising cost of living, councillors prioritising
politics over policies, and a council struggling to engage with local issues or offer clear leadership.
Managing support teams in professional sports, both domestically and internationally, has equipped me with the skills to drive positive change, navigate complex governance issues, and find effective solutions to difficult problems.
Yarra is a vibrant and diverse community, but it's clear that our current leadership has lost touch with the needs of Richmond residents. We need stronger community engagement, greater transparency in decision-making, and a renewed focus on fiscal responsibility.
As an independent candidate, I'm not tied to party politics. My commitment is to you—the residents of Lennox Ward and the broader Yarra community.
Together, we can refocus on what truly matters and make Yarra City Council work better for all of us.

Key Priorities
Fiscal Responsibility & Transparency
I’m committed to ensuring every dollar spent by the council is used wisely. My focus is on reducing wasteful spending, improving transparency, and prioritising essential services that benefit residents. I’ll work to make all financial decisions clear and accessible to the public.
Supporting Local Businesses
Local businesses are the backbone of our community. I’ll advocate for policies that reduce red tape, improve infrastructure, and provide the necessary support for small businesses to thrive. My goal is to create more local jobs and a vibrant economy for Richmond.
Community Engagement
Residents deserve a stronger voice in council decisions. I’ll ensure regular community forums, improved communication, and accessible platforms for feedback so that residents can have meaningful input on local issues. A council that listens is a council that delivers for the community.
Improving Public Services
I’ll work to ensure that public services like waste management, parks, and infrastructure are maintained and improved. My goal is to make sure that Richmond residents enjoy clean streets, safe public spaces, and better access to high-quality services.
